Reserve Police

E-mail Print PDF
This division consists of 13 reserve officers. This division is completely voluntary and has no cost to the tax payers. Sgt. Solwold oversees this division and has two commanders within this division that handle all scheduling and events planning needs. The main goal of this division is to supplement the patrol division. The reserve officers work mainly on Friday and Saturday nights. They patrol on foot in the downtown area. They also handle most of the traffic control assignments for holiday parades and other special events. Reserve officers attend local events and provide, at no cost, finger printing kits to parents for their kids. If you have any questions regarding the Reserve Division, they can be directed to Sgt. Solwold at 248-628-2581.
