December 09, 2009 - Monday, December 7 - An alarm went off at a building on S. Washington. It was canceled after contact was made.
*A vehicle was locked out on S. Washington.
*Several Juveniles were loitering at an establishment on N. Washington Rd. They were advised.
*A woman called the police because she was locked out of her residence and needed assistance. She later called back and said that she no longer needed assistance.
*An officer gave directions to a lost motorist.
Sunday, December 6 - Police were advised to be on the lookout for a reckless driver in a black pickup that was traveling northbound on M-24. Police were unable to locate the truck.
*An alarm went off at a building on Dennison. The back door and living room motions were set off. Police checked and it was all clear.
*A suspicious circumstance was reported on Chari. A doorbell was rung and when the home owner went to the door, no one was there.
*A blue jeep was traveling east bound on Ray Rd swerving in and out of lanes. The jeep moved into the westbound lanes trying to pass vehicles in front of him, forcing cars heading eastbound off the road. When he saw the officer, he forced the car next to him off the road and got back in the east bound lane. When the officer pulled the driver over, he stated that he was in a hurry to get to the auto parts store. He was issued a ticket for reckless driving.
Saturday, December 5 - A disorderly conduct was issued to a subject on S. Washington. An officer checked the scene and advised the subject to go home.
*A juvenile complaint was filed after a 12-year-old reported that he was 'jumped' and knocked to the ground by unknown high school kids. He also reported that he was kicked while on the ground.
Friday, December 4 - Entry was gained on a locked Envoy.
*Officers found a car unlocked and keys in a vehicle on W. Burdick. Officers secured the vehicle and the keys were left at dispatch.
Thursday, December 3 - A man called about a person in another car harassing him.
*Police assisted in moving a mobile home on E. Burdick.
*Police were called to Scarlet Oak after a young woman caught a lone young white male looking in her window. She was watching TV when she spotted the suspect. She ran to her father who was in the other room, and he immediately went outside looking for the lurker in the area. When police arrived, the father told police that it looked like someone was trying to kick in the door because the mortise in the lock was cracked. Police checked the area on foot and later in squad cars but could not locate the suspect. There was no evidence left at the scene and neither the father or daughter knew why or who would want to look in the window.
*There was an accident on Seymour Lake Rd and Baldwin.
Wednesday, December 2 - A Ford F-250 was locked out on Lakes Edge Dr.
*Some kids were reported riding skateboards down a ramp and riding on rails at a building on S. Washington. The officer checked and the kids were gone on arrival.
*There was an accident on S. Lapeer Rd. The cars were moved to an empty lot.
*An officer helped a citizen who had run out of gas.
Tuesday, December 1 - Police assisted a motorist who was having seat belt issues with children.
*A caller reported that his fence was taken down by his neighbor. He was turned over to the village ordinance officer.
*There was a complaint against an overloaded truck that wasn't tied down. The load was eventually tied down.
*A dog was found running in the road on East. St. The officer was able to locate where the dog lived.
